Ive made the decision to challenge myself not to get on the internet for a month. I spend way too much time on facebook, tumblr and blogs for new music. I spend just as much time looking for references to draw as time I should be spending drawing. I have more than enough reference downloaded and books to learn from. So Im going to take this month to get organized and get to deleting this mass amount of references Ive collected over the year after I finish drawing and sorting through it. Ill only be using the internet to post drawings on tumblr after I finish them.
Here goes nothin!
Neil Gaiman on creating the English script of Princess Mononoke
Interviewer: Were there any surprises in the audience? Did they laugh in all the right places?
Neil Gaiman: They laughed in all the right places. And in a couple of places I still haven’t figured out why they laugh. It’s like when the heads go flying: audiences always laugh, but it’s an uncomfortable laugh. It’s funny and there’s a moment of rejection.
No clue my favorite author wrote the script to this. Watching it before work tomorrow.
